adam-12 and beaver and dragnet

Another network called RTV back then now called Retro TV had Adam-12, Dragnet and Leave it to Beaver. RTV then lost all of their Universal shows. At the same time Networks Antenna TV, MeTV were getting ready to launch and both networks wanted Adam-12, Dragnet and LITB. Deals were made so that both Antenna TV and MetV could have these shows as exclusive to each network. They are short term contracts and they went to antennatv first then moved to MeTV and now LITB went back to Antenna TV as per the contract and Adam-12 and Dragnet went to Cozi TV as per the contract. MTV has already said that all 3 shows return in a couple of years. Both MeTV and Antenna Tv have said that we would start seeing shows move to other networks in rotation. There is no way that MeTV can program the network to please everyone. Networks have to please the majority and not the minority. Do you really think that they wanted to give up those 3 shows? Shows will come and shows will go and thats how networks work. With MeTv literally getting requests for thousands and thousands of shows there is no way to air them all especially with at least 5 other rival networks. MeTV does a great job of trying to program to please as many as they can but never will be able to please 100% of the people all of the time
